Travel to Honduras is partially allowed from Western Sahara. Those who have visited South America within the previous 15 days will also not be permitted into the country. There are exceptions for citizens and residents of Honduras, who will be required to quarantine for 14 days on arrival. #### Vaccinated traveller exceptions Travelers who present a valid international certificate for full vaccination against COVID-19, with the use of an approved vaccine, are exempt from testing requirements. All public events remain suspended. All public gatherings remain suspended, except for religious activities. These may go ahead with precautions and measures suggested by the World Health Organization. All businesses are closed, except supermarkets, markets, small stores, pharmacies, hospitals, hotels, petrol stations and private banks. Businesses that have permission to remain open must take precautions and keep people at least one meter apart from each other. In all cases, they must ensure that the number of people in these businesses do not exceed 50 people. Honduran authorities have suspended academic activities in both public and private institutions. Businesses in authorised sectors will be permitted to open during weekdays. Commercial international flights to and from Honduras have resumed. Land borders re-opened on 19 October from 6am to 6pm. You need to complete an online checklist and present a hard copy negative COVID-19 (PCR) test taken 72 hours before travel to enter Honduras. You must wear a face mask while outside and maintain social distancing. You also need to complete a checklist online before departure.
