1. Passengers are not allowed to enter and transit Latvia.

- This does not apply to the following passengers who must complete a "COVIDpass" before departure at [https://covidpass.lv/](https://covidpass.lv/) . This will generate a QR code which must be presented before departure and upon arrival:

- residents of Latvia;

- residents of Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom or Vatican City (Holy See) returning via Latvia to their country of residence;

- passengers arriving from Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland (Rep.), Italy, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom or Vatican City (Holy See);

- military personnel.Β

3. Flights from Montenegro, North Macedonia (Rep.) and Serbia are suspended.

4. Passengers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken at most 72 hours before departure from the first embarkation point.

- This does not apply to:

- passengers younger than 11 years;

- merchant seamen.

It is mandatory to wear a face mask: -in all indoor spaces where there is more than 1 person, except within households; -in public transport (the only exceptions are children under the age of 7 and disabled people (with movement disorders or mental health problems impeding to wear the mask) People must respect 2 metres physical distancing (applies to both public indoor and public outdoor spaces). Physical distancing is not applied to family members and members living in the same household. Public events are not allowed. Meetings, processions, and pickets can be attended by up to 25 participants. At funerals and baptising ceremonies, no more than 10 people are allowed to gather, from more than two households. Private events are prohibited, with the exception of events within a single household. Restaurants, bars and cafΓ©s can only provide take away services.

Do not travel

A state of emergency remains in place with tight restrictions to manage the spread of COVID-19. All travellers must present a negative COVID-19 (PCR) test issued within 72 hours of arrival in Latvia. Some exemptions exist. If you have recovered from COVID-19 in the last three months, you'll also need to present a medical certificate confirming you’re not currently infectious. You can enter Latvia but you'll be required to self-isolate for 10 days unless you're coming from a low-risk country. If you intend to travel or transit through Latvia, you must lodge an electronic form within 48 hours before entering (see 'Travel'). We continue to advise: Do not travel to Latvia due to the health risks from the COVID-19 pandemic and the significant disruptions to global travel.
