We now advise exercise a high degree of caution in the provinces of Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Şanlıurfa. Higher levels apply in some areas. Earthquakes are a constant risk in Türkiye. There have been major earthquakes in recent years and you should be prepared (see ‘Safety’). There's an ongoing high threat of terrorist attacks in Türkiye. Terrorists could attack with little or no warning (see 'Safety').
